Secondary Social Studies (full-time)

Required Qualifications:

• Passion for serving God in the context of Social Studies and education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Education, History, or related Social Studies Field
• Valid Teacher Certificate with appropriate endorsement(s)
• Must be able to meet necessary requirements for ACSI certification 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Two or more years of successful teaching experience
• Prior experience in an international school
• Master’s Degree in Education, History, Politics, Economics, Psychology or related field
• AP Training in one or more areas of Social Studies

Role Specific Responsibilities/Qualifications:

• Teaches Social Studies courses for both middle school and high school students
• Collaborates with department, middle and high school teams, and administration around student progress
• Contributes significantly to the critical thinking and inquiry layers of school culture
• Other duties as assigned
