Recruitment

  • Plan, organize and promote a God-honoring internal and external marketing and recruitment plan to strategically grow and sustain the school.
  • Take a leadership role in creating and implementing a strategic three-year Enrollment Marketing Plan.
  • Work in collaboration with the Director of Communications and Marketing to conduct regular and seasonal public service ads as well as paid ads in local media venues, e.g., newspapers, magazines, and radio stations.
  • Manage recruitment efforts (recruitment, open house, academic and curricular events, athletic events, and fine arts events) through promotional mailings, public media, and social media.
  • Create and develop various means of communication to inform academy constituencies of the progress, growth, vision, and mission success of the academy.
  • Work with the Head of School to find and engage new relationships, building the constituent base of ACA.
  • Communicate to potential families and provide written communication follow-ups.
  • Plan and implement an effective program of building relationships with local Preschools and Kindergartens for the purposes of recruitment.

Admissions

  • Provide oversight and accountability to Admissions.
  • Track inquiries, prospective students/families and ensure that annual admissions data and tracking is accurate and accessible.
  • Become familiar with the students at ACA. Build relationship with students. Develop students who can be ambassadors for admissions and donor relationships.
  • Recruit and retain mission-fit international students.
  • Oversee the international and domestic homestay programs.
  • Acquire and maintain all necessary standards and expectations as required by SEVIS.
  • Learn about the ACA program, curriculum, co-curricular activities, and community of grace. Be able to identify and communicate the meaning of the ACA brand to all constituents.
  • Give campus tours to inquiring, community members, parents, and student candidates.
  • Provide timely follow-up to school inquiries, including the arrangement of a campus visit and follow-up communication.
  • Manage the admissions funnel to process applicants as swiftly and effectively as possible.
  • Manage each prospective student file through the process of acceptance.
  • Perform initial interviews with prospective families as needed to determine whether they meet ACA’s admissions requirements.
  • Collect, screen and complete application data until it must be turned over to the designated administrator for the family interview.
  • Access and decline applications from families who do not meet admission’s policy standards.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of family interviews with the Head of School, Division Heads and Business Office.
  • Identify prospective students who have learning or behavioral issues and involve the Director of Academic Support for applicants who may require special services.
  • Develop and execute statistical studies and surveys as needed.
  • Report regarding class enrollment size, wait pools, and possible concerns over potential for over or under-enrollment in certain classes.
  • Provide regular reports on enrollment to the Head of School, the Division Heads and Business Officer.
  • Ensure Exit Interviews are conducted with any departing families.
  • Public speaking: Sharing your story and the ACA story with potential recruits and supporters.
  • Attend special events to represent ACA in the community. Host those events as appropriate on the ACA campus to bring the community to ACA.
