Armleder Math and Christian Studies Gr 4-6 Teacher

Reports To: Armleder Building Principal

Status: Full-time, Non-Exempt

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:10 a.m.-3:30 p.m., Starting August 11, 2025 - June 2026, Following the School Calendar

Essential Job Functions:

  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and lesson plans that provide students with creative, appropriate learning activities, and experiences designed to fulfill their potential for intellectual, emotional, physical, and social growth.
  • Conduct ongoing formal and informal assessments of student achievement.
  • Establish and maintain open communication with parents and students through a variety of means, including face-to-face conversations, email, phone calls and conferences.
  • Integrate technology to strengthen the teaching/learning process.
  • Maintain accurate, complete, and current records of student progress, achievement, and behavior.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty and staff. This includes, but is not limited to, working with the Upper E team, specials teachers, and the CHCA math department.
  • Work with small groups of children to facilitate their learning.
  • Experience working with a learning management system, like Canvas.

 

Job Requirements and Preferences:

 

  • Licensed Elementary Education teacher with grades 4-6 level certification for the state of Ohio with a focus in math
  • Prior teaching experience, preferred
  • Leader in Me - 7 Habits of Highly Effective People onboarding
  • Responsive Classroom
  • Must be a believing Christian who is comfortable in a diverse Christian community
