Academically Talented Math Support Specialist, Middle School

The Academically Talented Math Support Specialist works with grade-level teachers and provides leadership in the ongoing development and improvement of the instructional mathematics program for advanced learners at GRCMS. The Specialist serves as a member of support teams charged with the responsibility for planning, implementing, and evaluating an instructional program relevant to the needs of advanced learners. The Specialist works with teachers and the Academic Program Coordinator to ensure a consistent, effective instructional program for advanced learners and maintains a vision of appropriate mathematical instructional strategies based on current research and practices.  This work will be aligned with classroom standards proficiency scales at the 4.0 level.
