Scottsdale Christian Academy (SCA) is a Christ-Centered covenant Christian school in metropolitan Phoenix, Arizona. SCA conducts pre-employment and drug screening for all positions which includes a criminal background check, verification of work history, academic credentials, licenses, and certifications. A Level One Fingerprint Clearance Card is also required.
The Middle School Assistant Principal position and the High School Assistant Principal position will report to the Upper School Principal and assist in the overall administration of 6th – 8th grade or 9th – 12th grade respectively. (These are two different positions.) Each of these roles assist in serving as the educational leader, responsible for managing the policies, regulations, and procedures to ensure that all students are supervised in a safe, traditional Christian learning environment that meets the approved curricula and mission of the school. Achieving academic excellence requires that the person in this position work collaboratively with all members of the school staff and communicate effectively with SCA parents. Inherent in the position are the responsibilities for extracurricular activities and on-campus events, discipline and behavior management, student attendance and records, curriculum alignment, and emergency procedures. The person should be someone capable of making difficult decisions, have leadership qualities that include behavior management and relationship building, and hold all these responsibilities with a Biblical worldview.
