College Counselor

Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy (CHCA) is a Christ-centered, multi-denominational, college preparatory PK-12 school with approximately 1,400 students (Cincinnati's largest PK-12 independent school). Position Overview:

CHCA is seeking a full-time College Counselor to join its six-member counseling team. The successful candidate will work with a diverse group of students and families while seeking and highlighting the talents of each student with whom they work.

Position Responsibilities Include:

• Onboarding of new students and families
• Career and college counseling
• Program development
• Group presentations and webinars
• Use of college counseling software and applications
• Availability for evening meetings and travel

Position Qualifications:

• Five plus years of college counseling at the high school level (experience at the college level preferred)
• Master's Degree
• Ohio School Counseling License (preferred)
• Financial Aid knowledge
• Knowledge of current trends in college admission
• Strong written and verbal skills
• Detail oriented
• Flexible in a fast-paced environment
