Position Summary: A strategic, forward-thinking individual, corporate experience a plus, to fulfill the mission of Legacy Christian Academy by leading our financial operations, managing our operations team, overseeing financial planning, and guiding strategic decision-making. Serving as a member of the Executive Leadership Team.

With respect to financial management, the Chief Financial Officer:
- Develops and implements financial strategies to ensure the organization's financial health and sustainability.
- Oversees budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes to monitor financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and financial standards.
- Manage banking and financing relationships along with debt reporting compliance.
With respect to campaigns and construction, the Chief Financial Officer:
- Leads financial planning and analysis for capital campaigns, including budgeting, fundraising projections, and donor stewardship.
- Collaborates with stakeholders to develop financial strategies for construction projects, including cost estimation, financing options, and risk management.
- Provides financial oversight for construction projects to ensure adherence to budget and timelines.
With respect to management, the Chief Financial Officer:
- Manages and mentors the operations team and financial team, fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
- Oversees day-to-day operations, including facilities management, procurement, and vendor relationships.
- Coordinates with other departments to support their financial needs and ensure alignment with organizational goals.
With respect to strategic planning, the Chief Finance Officer:
- Participates in strategic planning processes to align financial objectives with the organization's mission and vision.
- Maintains and updates the strategic financial plan in collaboration with the Board Finance Committee.
- Provides financial insights and analysis to inform strategic decision-making and resource allocation.
- Evaluates opportunities for growth and expansion, assessing financial viability and risk.
With respect to stakeholder engagement, the Chief Finance Officer:
- Serves as a financial liaison to the board of directors, providing regular updates on financial performance, risks, and opportunities.
- Collaborates with executive leadership to communicate financial priorities and strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Builds and maintains relationships with donors, investors, and financial institutions to support fundraising and financing initiatives.
